Syed Atiq ul Hassan is the winner of ‘2014 Stepan Kerkyasharian AO Harmony Award’, ‘2014 Auburn Citizen of the Year Award’, and ‘2018 Parramatta Senior Citizen of Year Award’. He has delivered a pioneer projects in multiculturalism in New South Wales in the last 25 years including:
- The first multicultural English Newspaper in 1997 – Tribune International (Australia).
- The first Multicultural Eid Festivity event – Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) which is the one of the largest multicultural events in Australia being held in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth where 40 thousand visitors enjoyed flavor of our multiculturalism.
- Author of ‘Australia For Pakistanis’ the first book which stunningly investigates the genealogy of Pakistani and Muslims migrants to Australia, published in 2003.
- The first International Halal Exhibition in Australia – Halal Expo Australia – invited national and international exhibitors from Pacific Region which is unique mega international event in Australia.

Mr. Hassan is a senior community leader in multicultural society of NSW, a leading organisers of multicultural events, forums, conferences, fair and exhibitions. He works as a foreign correspondent and regularly writes columns for international media outlets.
Mr. Hassan is an educationist teaches IT, Business, Marketing and Events Management. He is a Life Coach and a Mentor helping people in the community voluntarily bringing their lives back from personal & professional issues and setting new goals in life.
Academically, Mr. Hassan holds degree in Physics, Computer Technology, Economics, Law, Journalism, advance academic credentials in Management, Marketing, Life Coaching.
When Mr. Hassan migrated to Australia as an IT Professional migrant with his wife Ms. Surraya Hassan and 2 kids, he was 32 years old to he is in 60s, hence he spent the peak time of his life for the community. He is a role model as a campaigner of multiculturalism through his dedicated over 25 years services amazing work.
Mr. Hassan has written many eye-opener articles on multiculturalism. Mr. Hassan has introduced the Australian ethnic communities in the international media as a foreign correspondent and as being the editor-in-chief of Tribune International (Australia). Over 600 media articles of Syed Atiq ul Hassan have been published in the international media and unaccountable reporting and interview he has conducted in the last 30 years or so. Mr. Hassan has worked for many international companies and government departments in the United States, Middle East, and Australia.
Mr. Hassan among those few campaigners of multiculturalism in Australia who have delivered extraordinary services within the Islamic community and to the broad multicultural communities in the state of New South Wales in the last 25 years.
